An intersectional approach to creating a season.  Be part of the process as we read and develop the work. The Latino Theater Company’s Summer Reading Series gathers together Los Angeles’ most exciting voices for a weekend of sharing and celebrating brave new work with our family of artists and community free of charge. 7 new works by Los Angeles playwrights have been selected and will be given a staged reading by professional directors and actors on the various stages of The Los Angeles Theatre Center.

Five plays from last year’s Summer Reading Series received premieres in our 2018/19 season. New work is born at The LATC.
